Directory of Illustration
Happy New Years!
Last year I was busy illustrating the cover and some inside pages for the 26th edition of the Directory of Illustration. I am really happy with how it turned out and I owe a BIG THANKS to the very awesome Dave Plunkert over at SPUR DESIGN who was the designer and art director. I am also happy to report that the cover image was accepted into the Society of Illustrators 2010 book exhibition. Thanks 2010!

I was flipping through my December Issue of Everyday with Rachel Ray searching for cheesecake recipes when I discovered that my zipper pulls were listed as #41 in the 2009 holiday gift guide. Thanks Rach!
Jon & Kate plus me?
Some of my lunchboxes and bags I worked on with Crocodile Creek were seriously featured on Jon & Kate plus 8 yesterday. I think they bought every lunchbox Crocodile Creek makes. My solar system and vehicle artwork as well as some of the awesome art by my other friends were on the show. Here is a link to the action!
Nesting Dolls for Charity
I’m excited to take part in an auction set up by Design Within Reach and Housing Works on July 23 at the DWR: Tools for Living store in Soho, nyc. It was challenging and so inspirational to paint 12 nesting dolls for a great cause. Check out some more info HERE!

Wired Ran a quick post about Crocodile Creek Placemats and featured my USA map on their GEEK DAD Blog. Thanks Wired! I am currently working on a new placemat and puzzle due out next year. I can’t wait for everyone to see it! Stay Tuned!

Dog Show!
Mascot Studio ( 328 E. 9th st, NYC) is having their 10th Annual Dog Show. The show features Dog inspired art from myself, Chris Buzelli, Peter McCaffrey, Anne Watkins and more!
